As part of this year's World Space Week (WSW) Malta Event, the National Coordinator for WSW Malta teamed up with Esplora interactive Science Center and the U.S. Embassy in Malta to hold a Digital Video Conference with Washington.

During the session which run on October 12th, 2018 students from a Year 6 International school had the chance to learn on STEM Careers and NASA's mission in space study and space missions. 

 

In particular the session aimed to show that girls have a contribution to give in STEM Careers and aero engineer Rosa Avalos-Warren described her work and gave students the opportunity to ask her about it and speak of their favourite subject at school. Students were encouraged to study Sciences and Maths to take up new posts in the future.
